Q5 What do you think the benefits of being a freelancer are?

Being able to build your own brand, while taking on projects you are passionate about and making a positive difference to your clients while building a brand.

Q6 What are the biggest challenges you think freelancers face at the moment?

Lack of business acumen, solitude (lack of guidance and support), fickle and unstable business environment, and political uncertainty.

Q7 What do you think is the best resource you have found to use as a freelancer?

There are a few, royalty-free resources, or open-source apps one can use.

Q8 What one piece of advice would you give to other/aspiring freelancers?

Develop a process from first contact, client engagement, when to set deliverables and payments, and be honest and transparent – Do not overcharge and clients will know you are honest and your reputation will grow.

Q9 What is your favourite project you have ever worked on?

Brand development, but I love all web design projects.
