Q4 What inspired you to become a freelancer?

I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love the flexibility, freedom & exciting opportunities. Creativity is an outlet. It comes naturally to me, and being creative frees up space in my brain that would otherwise get clogged with crap. Being creative makes me happy!

Q5 What do you think the benefits of being a freelancer are?

Freedom, flexibility, hustle, growth & space to learn and pick up new skills. Most of all being your own boss!!

Q6 What are the biggest challenges you think freelancers face at the moment?

Some months are slower than usual & people can be reluctant to spend money. Some jobs you’ll love and some jobs just have to get done – It’s all part of it !

Q7 What do you think is the best resource you have found to use as a freelancer?

Bechance & Instagram (for reach). Along with Motion Array + Type01. They my best friends

Q8 What one piece of advice would you give to other/aspiring freelancers?

Just take the leap of faith, don’t get too comfortable and keep hustling !!!! It’s not meant to be easy but hard work pays off. Be on top of your rate cards from day dot and make sure to always be upfront and honest.

Q9 What is your favourite project you have ever worked on?

I have LOVED working on the graphics for a short film called ‘Breaking Up’. I had the pleasure of designing the poster and shooting behind the scene/stills. There is no better feeling than working with fellow creatives and making some magic.
